We currently have a job opening for a full-time Water System Operator I or II position.

Incumbents in this job perform a wide variety of skilled maintenance/construction duties pertaining to a pressurized water system.  This level is distinguished from the Pipeline Maintenance II in that level I is in a training mode and is under closer supervision with the work being reviewed by the supervisor more carefully.

Applicants must be 18 years of age. and possess a current valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required).   Graduation from high school and two (2) years of pipeline maintenance experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Risk found in potentially dangerous and unusual environmental stress situations, e.g. working underground, working in extreme outdoor weather conditions, etc.  The work requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion such as frequent bending, lifting heavy objects over 50 pounds, crouching or crawling in restricted areas, and driving an automobile.
